Palataea's mother loved mythology. She loved mythology so much that she named all of her children after different gods and goddesses. When she came to Palataea she had run out of names, so she created a name that sounded mythological. Palataea's always trying to live up to her name and thinks herself better than she really is. A very vain and selfish creature Palataea wants to be the most beautiful pet in mara, and already thinks she is.
