Aglaeca (uh-GLAY-see-uh):
Anglo-Saxon name meaning "fighter". This name has no connection to a Nefarious Quell other than my liking for the way it sounded.

Alectrona (ay-lek-TRONE-uh):
Alectrona (or Electrona) was an early Greek goddess of the sun (hence my pet's burntness). She is also thought to represent man's waking sense, and is said to be the reason for waking up from sleep in the morning. Her name means "rooster" in ancient Greek.

Amoy (uh-MOY):
This name means "beautiful goddess" in Jamaican.

Amurru (uh-MOO-roo):
Amurru is an Akkadian and Sumerian diety also known as Murta. He is the god of the mountains and the nomads, and the son of the sky-god Anu.

Belliae (BELL-ee-yay):
I create this name as a shortened and altered version of "cerebellum", the part of your brain that controls senses and electrical energy (a Digital pet seemed fitting here). Coincidentally (and unfortunately) it is also the name for a species of slimy mushrooms that grow in stagnant water. Ew.

Caillech (KAI-lekk):
Named after the ancient Celtic goddess who controlled the seasons and the weather; and was the goddess of earth and sky, moon and sun.

Chibbiee (CHIB-eee):
Chibbiee was my very first Chibs; his name is a combination of "Chibs" and "WHOOPEEEE!!".

Enlil (EN-lill):
Enlil, meaning "Lord of the Wind", is generally referred to in myth and legend as a god of wind, breath and loft.

Grothar (GROTH-are):
He is the Santharian God of weather, particularly a guide for the cold (as in, Icy Quell) Auratic Winds.

Morrigan (Mor-rig-ahn):
Morrigan is the Celtic Goddess of War, Death, Ravens, Fertility, the Dark Goddess, and Fate. I plan on her eventually being a black when I get a hold of a black costume. This name is dedicated to my oldest daughter.

Nepherites: He was named after King Nepherites I who founded the 29th dynasty of Egypt and supported Sparta in its war against the Persians. His tomb containing some remains of a sarcophagus was discovered 1992. Nepherites is dedicated to my son.

Osirin (OH-sie-ren):
Osiris, whom my Choco Chibs is named after, was the Egyptian god of resurrection and the afterlife. Chocolate is capable of rescuing anyone from death, so...

Quelibe (QUELL-ibe):
This was another name that I made up, and it has no significance except that "Quell" partly forms the name.

Tianlong:
Tianlong is a flying dragon in Chinese mythology whose name means heavenly dragon or celestial dragon.

Tundnan (TUND-nun):
Tundnan is a word meaning "to be kindled" or "to be on fire".

Vaghdrua (VAGG-drew-uh):
This is a version of a the name Valdemar who was a viking king.

Violaceae (vee-OH-li-say):
Violaceae is a family of flowering plants consisting of about 800 different species. Included in this group are violets and pansies. Not only did I like this name the moment I saw it, but it fit well with my purple-colored (violet) Plushie Quell.

Zizilia:
The Slavic goddess of love. She is my current portal pet but will eventually be a red Chibs.
