The woman whipped her this time again upon her face.The girl hurredly tried to hide the tears of pain sliding from her bloodshot eyes. "This vampire is vicious,back away!I shall taunt it,watch!" A glare of such resentment and hate crossed the woman's face as she looked at Lessa,but she smiled at the freak show watchers. "Then so be it,"Lessa said vehemently.She let out a blood curdling scream and lunged for the ring-misstress's neck.Everything between her and the jugular vein was torn out.Blood showered across the wall and upon the watchers."How could they all do this to me?"Lessa whispered tearfully as everyone screamed and ran out into the cold night in fright...
