A friend tries tohelp but got support that failed

I had an image swiped from me and used in a banner in someones marasite. I was never asked for permission to use my image, and they were asked by me to remove it.
I am in the middle of a hurricane and would rather play than have to chase around some kid getting them to remove an image from their site, so I asked a friend of mine to help me by contacting staff while I delt with the kid who took my stuff...the kid disappears off line a few mins after my friend put in a support ticket for me.
She was told by a staff member to tell me I have to send in my OWN ticket.

(which means, no help unless I do it myself)
*I did send in my own ticket but the image is STILL there, which means I still havn't gotten help...a fast response on saying no but not fast when it's me asking for the help when told to...whats with that...?*

I'm kind of disappointed on that info, I think if ANY member reports an issue regardless how it gets sent it should be looked into, & I only make this point

since I'm in the middle of a hurricane and I could have lost power...(not that I have YET) BUT for all staff knows was talking to a member who's a friend of mine on the phone. If I was to have lost power, how would I put in a report?...
(pass it on to someone who was on line right...I've seen other staff help those who couldn't get on line, or put in support tickets...in this manner)
I did still see the page...I had the link, I did pass it on, & ONLY because I know how annoyed I've made others when I get upset...

I TRIED to save them the fusteration of dealing with me...ya think they'd be happy about that....since I know alot of people just can't take my "personality"

Hence why it think any issues reported should be looked into... but no instead I am now posting this into my blog making a 5 mile long explination on why I think any report from a member (if legit) when another is helping another member should be looked into.
We're all suppose to be helpful, it's how we get the rewards here, but now we're being told in not so many words, "sorry can't help because your not that person..." :S Guess it puts a full new spin to the saying if you want something done, do it yourself.
Kinda would suck if (hypethetically), your a member who looses power JUST as you find out someone is hacking your account...What happens to the 48 hour protection then expecialy if a staffer says, no they have to put in their own report...if you were to call a friend and ask them to help...

I assume I'll get into trouble for voicing my opinion on this matter as well.

Missing mara again

Well heading into my 2nd week of full time working bliss LOL I sure do miss marapets and my friends in my club, it's been weird getting home only to be able to spend 2 hours in here. I check in in the morning (7am ish) then head out the door, off to work
I know I'll be missing the halloween pumpkin hunt this year but I never really planned to participate this year anyway. (Last year I was like 1 punkin away from being one of the top 25 to players...*shaggy told me LOL *)
I get my first pay checque on Friday so this means a double whammy LOL CTB and a pay check YEAH!!! LOL.
there will deffinatly be a cord of wood and some grocerie shopping on Friday LOL (along with my business meeting)

Trying to get as many members as possible to join in on this project of mine, I vaguly recall an after thought from the sites creator suggesting that this could be an award in the future but this was something stated almost 2 years ago so I guess it's out of the picture now...he's been so busy so I don't expect him to remember something that was a suggested possibility... Maybe if this goes well...
Anyway I decided to make my own figured MANY would like this option so I did my own page, and low and behold, it took off... so fast in fact I was shocked! Whats even a bigger shocker is how many people have minis OVER 500 days of age! and how many who have made it past 800 days!! We even have two with minis over 1000 days! So if your reading this and want to join in here's what you need to do,
To find the age of a mini pet by, clicking on a pet you think has an old mini and then find that mini and click on it... this is the minis "age page"
This is the link I need to see as proof for age mail this to me and I'll add you.
1 mini per member make sure it's your oldest one ok
Make sure your mini is 500 days or OVER thats how they get on that page.
I will create a screenshot and host the image and remember the mini HAS to have a name ok... No one wants to see a mini named NO NAME...
There's an award in my page to thats coded for you for your profile, now I know it's NOT an offical award but it looks like one & there's no need to down load it either use it on your own as is it will work
If you like the Oldest minis of mara let me know maybe we can get Ian to make it an offical part of marapets in the future when he's not so busy!
