Goals require so many more other things like missions, random events, wardrobe and attic items, etc. so I’ll list them here too just to keep the info handy:
Every few months, I log in on Marapets to see what's going on, check in on my pets, look at what's new, and so on. It seems like I checked back in on a great time because there have been so many updates and events this August 2024!
My first order of business was having a Midnight Mordo. I saved up and bought an enchanted plushie last year, but I didn't really have any concrete plans with what to do it yet. I'm glad I took my time, because now I knew exactly what to do! Yesterday, I created my pet Lagim and used the plushie, and I'm so happy I waited!
I look back at my latest blog post (the one before this one) and saw that I have other unfinished business aside from the Midnight Mordo, which is buying a Tundra Costume for my Fasoro and also earning up for an Elf Chibs. I still want to buy the Tundra Costume, but now I have set my sights on a new goal, a Splatter Chibs.
This is a wild and expensive dream pet. The cheapest Chibs makers cost 40m MPs, and there is one Splatter Costume on trades asking for 40m MPs as well. I need about 80m MPs, and I am 50m MPs too short. I've been playing Marapets for over 15 years, and let me tell you, I still don't know how people earn millions and millions of MPs. So, wish me luck!

Update: 08/04 I just bought an Enchanted Midnight Chibs Plushie for 32m MPs. Welp.
Update: 08/06 The Splatter Costume is now gone on the trades. I'm sure someone must have bought it. I think I will try to go for the Transubstantiation Temple!
I have also decided to aim for a Desert Quell after I traded my Lilac Rusty for a Radioactive Quell on 08/07, so I'll work towards that once I achieve a Splatter Chibs. And then I'll work towards a Gothic Troit!
Update: 08/15 Somehow I've been earning MPs slowly but surely! I sold retired plushies and Simerian keys in my shop and became diligent in setting up trades for more expensive items. I sold the following through instant trade and I'm so grateful!
I also traded an Enchanted Rainy Snookle Plushie for 3.5m MPs and a Cubby. Not entirely sure it was a good decision, I have yet to know in the future!
Update: 08/18 Might as well keep track of this! I reached the top of the jackpot pyramid for the first time EVER in all my years of playing! I won 28,211MP at 05:55 MST!
Update: 08/19 I saw the new Party pets and I suddenly want to have a Party Osafo as well! Also, I just found out that it was my 17-year anniversary on Marapets two days ago!! I wish I knew earlier, I just happened to find out today because I noticed it on my profile!
Update: 08/21 I have this sudden urge to make Frizixie a Valentine Straya. That's gonna be 34m for a maker and about 18m for a costume. I simply have no money for all of these. I need to reassess my pet goals... I'll finish the temple first for the Splatter Costume, then Desert Quell, then Valentine Straya, and then Gothic Troit and Party Osafo.
I'm coming back after a long hiatus (like always) and I wanted to keep track of my new dream pets!
Fairy Rusty - 07/15 Traded a Capsule Machine Token, Time Machine Token, and 10m MPs for a Fairy Costume. I gave it to Zuole on 07/18 and she looks so cute! DONE!
Tundra Fasoro - Will buy a costume for Frizixie when I can!
Midnight Mordo - 07/21 Traded Flat Sneakers, Snowflakes, Menorah, and 11m MPs for an Enchanted Midnight Mordo Plushie. I took my sweet time. Everything in this post is from 2023, and it's now 08/04/24. I created Lagim and used the plushie, finally completing this one! DONE!
Scout Rusty - 07/20 I traded my Werewolf Mordo and Lightning Fasoro for a Bee Tasi and Pink Crikey. 07/21 I traded my Bee Tasi and Pink Crikey for a Pampered Limax. 07/22 I traded the Pampered Limax for a Superhero Raulf and Calico Rusty. 07/27 Bought a Scout Costume for 9.5m MPs. I gave it to Flywheel on the same day! DONE!
Anime Osafo - 07/17 Traded an Earwig Plushie and 17.5m MPs for an Anime Costume! Created Taemari on 07/18, a very special day for Shawols, and gave them the Anime Costume. DONE!
Elf Chibs - ??
I think I don't have nearly enough money to achieve all of these pet goals, but a girl can dream! (I'm selling a bunch of retired items on my Trades, so please check them out!)
I've been semi-active since 2015 and since then I\'ve been saving my MPs up for my pet goals. 10m MPs for Valentine Snookle, 8m MPs for Fire Snookle, traded LOTS for my Chibs and Rusty, etc. I kept saving up for the next dream pet. (You can actually check one of my blog posts for a very detailed account of how I got my pets.) As of the moment, I don't have any particular new dream pet but I am hoping to trade my Quell and Lati for something cuter. In short, I can finally move to my next goal, which is to change my username! It's never really been one of my goals to have a pretty character or whatever (besides, good wardrobe items cost A LOT and I simply don't have MPs for that.)
I've had my username (xiopao) since 2007. Meaning, I made this account when I was 8 years old, which explains its stupidity.
Today, I was finally able to change my username! I've earned up to 9m MPs and I placed an offer on a trade. My offer got accepted last December 26, 2017 but for some reason, I wasn't allowed to change my username. I kept getting an error. I tried it again today, and it worked!!!
As of January 3, 2018, my username is officially Cambriel!
This post is for the pets who looked like 100x better with their revamp. (not in order)
1. Equilor - when I got back to Marapets I was really excited to own an Equilor because I was like, "Wow! So cute! But why does the name sound familiar...?" I thought it was a new non-LE pet. Turns out it was one of the pets I used to like when I was 9. Lol. Definitely an A++ transformation!
2. Fasoro - from the time I started Marapets up until now, Fasoros are really one of my favorite pets. I like it's revamp as well, but I hope the drawing of other costumes update as well! Imagine a redraw of Ice Fairy and Lightning Fasoros! Pretty cool, right?
3. Jessup - It was redrawn, right? It's not just my imagination? Because I swear I didn't like the Jessup before and when I look at it now, I can't imagine not liking it??? It's so cute! Especially the Cupid Jessup, that's why it's one of the pets I really want to have.
4. Kidlet - Same with the Jessup, I can't imagine not liking it?? So probably it was revamped as well.
5. Knutt - Wow. A++ transformation as well! Look at that change! I never would have gotten a Knutt before the revamp. Sorry but it really wasn't that cute. Now, I want like 1 more! (White) Really amazing transformation. Bravo, bravo!
6. Walee - Amazing transformation as well! Like the Knutt, I definitely wouldn't have gotten a Walee before the revamp! Now I want to have so many of it! Even the 4 basic colors look good on it. I want 2 more as well! Gimme a Hobo Walee!
7. Rusty - Ever if it is a Limited Edition pet, before the revamp I wouldn't have liked it either. After the revamp however, WOW. I spent weeks trading and earning to even just get one! REALLY great revamp. I want a Grey Rusty. So. cute.
8. Grint - another A++ transformation! The Grint is actually why I started this blog post. I was looking at the Pets tab of the sidebar and looked at all the pets available. I saw the Grint on the pet trades and was wondering its other colors because it looked so cute. I then saw its previous look and W O W. Just WOW. Best revamp ever! Right after seeing the available colors, I immediately went to the shop search oto get a Gold Grint Maker. I found the potion to be less expensive so I bought it immediately. It got me thinking about revamps that's why I made this blog post! <3

1) Osafo - c'mon little cutie you deserve it too! 2) Bolimo - pretty active Marapet arouond the site. it should definitely be revamped too! 3) Troit - only the new costumes look good on it. really needs revamp. 4) Speiro - ... really, really NEEDS a revamp 5) Vixen - already pretty cute but still has lots of potential

I love the revamp, more so because it really gets to me. You wanna know why? Because when I was 9 and I just started Marapets, I realized that the Limited Edition pets are the cute ones, and there's no way I can get one. They're too expensive! I had to settle for pets I found less cute because they were non-LE. All my pet goals had non-LEs in them.
I'm really happy now because there are a lot more cute non-LE pets. Even now when I can have some of the LEs I want, I find myself wanting to have non-LE pets because they're just so cute! I'm not kidding about those pets I said I wanted! When I finish my pet goals and I get more money to buy Extra Pet Giftbox, I'll definitely get them! I really love this revamp because no longer do I need to have LE pets just to have cute pets!
I think I will try to go for the Transubstantiation Temple!
