Charisma: Charisma is gained from the Puchala Inn Quest or from random events when your pet completes school courses or from riding Murfin Madness in Slater Park. WARNING: Pets can get sick from this ride. You can also gain Charisma stats from the Guillotine but your pet might lose it's head.
Magic: You can either complete Computer quests, visit the Ice Caves (you'll need a completed Christmas Treasure Map) or visit Elekas Fountain which can make your pet sick. Booster and Simerian Statue.
