- Maraprom is back for the second year running! we're going bigger, badder and better than ever before! >D

>Q: What's Maraprom? < we held it last year too, actually! see previous blog post here; http://www.marapets.com/blogs.php?entry=375362 this year should be similar, but will take place over a week, instead of just one day.
>Q: When is Maraprom? < it's scheduled for the 20th-27th of July, sun to sun.
>Q: Who's running it? < Myself (Toyboks), Jenni (littlehids), and twi (imaboyorgirl) are the current co-ordinators, and we have one more person pending. in total there will be four moderators.
>Q: How do I join? < If you'd like to come, all you need to do is show up on the day! however, so we can get a rough idea of how many people are coming, please POST ON THIS BLOG since you're here saying if you think you're gonna come. This way we can make sure we have an appropriate number of prizes ^^
>Q: Do I need a date? < No, DATES ARE NOT PERMITTED BY MARAPETS RULES.If you refer to another player as your 'date' or 'prom date' on the board or anywhere before that, you will be asked to leave. I realise this sounds very harsh, but if we break any of the rules then the entire event may be cancelled by staff and it will be ruined for everyone.
>Q: What kind of events can I expect? < So far we have over thirty events planned over the course of the week! examples include fun forum games for individuals like dollspotter, mafia, count to 5, riddle contests, site-wide egg hunts, poetry contest, graphics contests, rping, dress up games, storybuilder, spam bash, item hunter, pack mule, tombola, stop the bus, raffles, gourmet food tables, hangman, guess the item, and much more c: there's a variety of both team and single events, so there should be something for all!
>Q: Wait, teams? < Yep! at the beginning of the event, you will randomly be placed into one of the four teams, with a coordinator as your team leader. the teams will then compete with each other throughout the week to earn points and come out top for fabulous prizes!
>Q: What kind of prizes are up for grabs? < There's some really amazing things up for grabs! there's lots of LE makers, retired stuff, costumes, rare gourmets, clothing, valuable items, and lots of mp there should be a prize list sooner or later, but everybody will walk away with something, an you'd be crazy not to get involved!
>How can I find out more? < We're making a website that should be up and running soon! until then, feel free to mail me with any questions.

4. I caught a snake by hand in a swimming pool in Spain when i was 12 and proceeded to keep it as a pet for a week in a drawer above my underwear.

11. I'm 18 and at the time of writing this i've been out of formal education for approximately 4 days. (uni next!
12. speaking of uni, i got all my uni offers, and i even applied to a course that my personal statement (Which was about how i wanted to be an engineer) was completely irrelevant to. they offered me a place anyway and i'm excited to say that hopefully i will be studying design there next year.
13. i can't stand pancakes.

16. When I was little i wanted to be the cheshire cat, then an archaeologist, then a palaeontologist, then a zoologist, then an architect respectively. truly i want to be an inventor.
17. I have more clothes than most people I know, yet i insist on wearing oversized jumpers and tracksuits half the time.
18. my original marapets id was in the 4000's. i've been playing a very long time.
19. Damien Hirst is my favourite artist, and Pokemon emerald is my favourite game.

21. i play piano, and when i was little i could play better with my toes than my hands.
22. I'm hyper mobile and i can lie on the floor with my shoulders flat facing up and my hips flat facing down. apparently it looks horrible like i'm snapped/have been hit by a car but ah well.
23. i have a huge phobia of sitting in hot cars. one time i stood in the middle of a road in KL refusing to get in because i would rather risk getting hit than have to put myself through the agony of a black car in 40C heat. I also can't deal with any form of crumbs on the bead (i have to change the sheets) or eating white fish with bones (i had a bad experience).
24. I love roller coasters and i turn into the biggest adrenaline junkie as soon as i get to a theme park.
25. I have a poster signed by pewdiepie on my wall addressed to me with a little message about some anime characters i was into at the time. it's signed something like 'hugs, kisses, and not-so-pc things, Felix xxx (pewdiepie)' and is from when we used to email each other a lot. I don't really watch his videos any more at all, but people always think it's really cool.
