The Restock system for the main shops in Marada has been updated. You may have noticed we have replaced the old, easily abused security codes with newer ones that will guarantee only genuine players can buy the items. Codes will only show on certain items - rare, expensive or unbuyable items. As items decrease in value or demand, the security code will be automatically removed. All other items will have no security codes at all but you can only buy one of the same item every 30 seconds.
The new codes also mean that we can make Restocking more interesting. All shops can now restock items of up to rarity 40 - meaning that there are some super rare items that will only show up a few times a week or month! There are 83 new items now restocking in several different shops.
All Quests have been updated. We have increased the rewards of all quests. The layout has also been improved, with the 'Check Price' feature making it easier and faster for you to complete quests. We have also removed the old codes from quests and replaced them with the newer codes, which will only randomly show up.
i get the long codes, i am logged in to google mail. i have firefox, i was giving the number ones before i went on break, but when i came back i get the terrible ones i have to put my nose on the monator to try to read.
I noticed at the bottom of the code captcha box it says log in using Google to get easier codes or something like that. With the highest respect we should not have to do that just to stay here. Many of the words in the squiggly font don't even look like English so I can't read them :(.

I tried logging into Google and it does help some with the captcha codes. The odd thing is it gives me partial street addresses for the codes :huh:.
At least they are in English so I'm happy with that. I'm doing my best to adjust to the new code system. Thank you kindly for all your hard work great job as always :thumbsup:.

You can also have the captcha "tell" you the code so if you cannot read it (which I have trouble sometimes), just listen to it. I keep trying until I get one that I can read usually.
I don't mind the codes, I surely wish they would put codes on the lower rarity ones. I was able to get some of those, now, nothing. 30 seconds is not doing much to slow them down.
I think the 30 seconds is fair. Others need a chance to buy as well. Spread the wealth.
Love the new items, changes as usual. I think all of this is for our protection and the fairness of the site to play. So, it will just take a bit of time to adjust to the new ways.
I love the fact that they are upgrading the site so much. But I have found that the new codes are almost impossible to read. I have to use the sound on most of them because I can't read it. Other than that. All the new updates are awesome. Minus the crashes. ;) Thank's Ian and staff.
I don't see any change with the quests themselves yet. They all still give the same amount they always have. They do tend to ask for more and more expensive items from 10k to 500k depending on what quest you try. Sewer Monster asked me for a silver gumball that is over 300k. I tend to lose points questing but I do try when I have the extra points to do so.
I do like the new quest format very nice. The new items are beautiful too. The new captcha codes work well once a persons eyes get adjusted to the blurry outlines of the letters :).

Any chance you can add "check price" to missions? It is annoying to sift through several 1000 plates to see if we have the one Jester wants. Instead of it telling you which one you need, you spend all your time finding out which plate you don't have and then you have to go find the price, etc. A little help there would be wonderful. Kind of like diamonds and crystals, it tells us which one we don't have with the check price to buy it and satisfy the training.
I just realized something. All of the shops on the shops list say "Buy the that you need from this shop" in their descriptions. This could use some fixing.
