The Robot Costume was first released in August 2006 in Account Upgrades and the costume has been retired and neglected ever since. We have released a new version of the Robot Account Upgrade with 8 new robot themed items and either an Robot coloured Mordo or Speiro Enchanted Plushie. This AU will retire November 15th.
The Eyru, Jessup, Kujo, Mordo, Reese and Speiro can now wear the Robot Costume.
The Robot Basil, Leido, Poera, Xoi and Zoink have been updated. We hope you like the changes!
Ahh! So cool! None of them scream MAKE ME, though, to me. I suppose I was hoping for more of a Zoids aesthetic (but the leido and Speiro look a little like that), BUT I also didn't see this coming, so it's not like I can ACTUALLY say I was hoping for anything, ahaha. It's just a pleasant surprise! I want more pets in the robot costume, though! It looks VERY nice!
I'll probably get the Xoi. It seems to stand out a bit from the Jetsons or Chuck Jones: Tom and Jerry style of cat/mouse robots that the others resemble and looks more futuristic! That, and I love Xois~

While I really like some of the new robot pet art, it really stinks for those of us that have held on to old robot costumes in hopes of making money on these retired items. However, now they're not rare, as they're now available for sale after not being available for 11 years. I would have preferred to keep the robot costume retired, and offering pet-specific robot potions in this current upgrade sale. What's the point of retiring an item, and then offering it up again?
