It's Friday 19th January Again
We would like to apologise for the past few days of Site Issues. Since we moved our new servers we had issues with our firewall. This was causing random 3 minute long timeouts for days. These timeouts were giving us constant alerts about the site being up and down, so we muted these alerts. Then on Saturday 20th January, the power to the site failed and was fixed within 15 minutes. The site 'fixed itself' without us noticing as the alerts were muted. What actually happened was the database corrupted itself as the power was pulled. We noticed this within a few hours and tried to fix it. It would fix, then break again, fix then break again. We replaced the disks to see if they were broken and the same happened. We then spent 30 hours reinstalling the operating system and software and restored the site from backup. We re-opened and it happened again. Marapets had to be restored to the cleanest backup of data before this happened.

This means that your Marapets account and everything on Marapets is exactly how it was Friday 19th January at 03:15MST. Anything and everything that was done, earned, lost, played, added to collection, used, moved, etc since this time simply never happened. As the site was closed for 3 of the past 5 days, approx 48 hours of game play therefore never happened FOR EVERYONE. Nothing was lost, no one is out of pocket - your account is simply EXACTLY how it was on Friday at 3am Marapets time.

Any player that has purchased Account Upgrades Credit with Paypal since this have been manually refunded their credits for you to spend again. Anything else did not happen and we will be carrying on as normal from here. You did not technically lose or gain anything - all play since Friday 19th January at 3AM Marapets time did not happen.

Everything on your account now is yours and you will not be receiving/losing anything that happened since this time. Marapets rolled back to Friday 19th January 03:15MST and this is final.

We spent 4 sleepness nights and days working hard to stop this from happening but it could not be repaired and the decision was made to rollback to Friday. We apologise for the inconvenience but are happy to have the site back and working as it should.
