I???ve had vivid dreams like this
Where I???m mourning the loss of someone I love
But I said it would never happen
Because I would catch your demons
Before they caught up with you
But now I???m really standing here
In this exact place
Full of regret, sorrow and fear
Because I for the last time I said

All I remember is you telling me
That this wasn???t my fault
And that you cared
That I shouldn???t be upset anymore
But that???s when I lost it
And that???s when I lost you
For the past year I didn???t know who Chris was
And thankfully you???ve finally come home
And I missed you
I wish that when you were here
I could have found the right words
To help you, to guide you
To do anything to stop you
