Holiday Mad Libs
1. Twas the night before VALENTINE’S DAY and all through the house,
Not a creature was SNEEZING, not even a mouse.
The FIDGET SPINNERS were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes that LADY GAGA soon would be there.

The MARBLES were nestled all snug in their beds
While visions of SUGAR COOKIES danced in their heads.
And mom in her SWEATSHIRT and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long SUMMER’S nap.

And then, in a twinkling I heard in the BEDROOM,
The prancing and pawing of each PINKY.

As I drew in my EAR and was turning around,
Down the MONKEY BARS St. Nicholas came with a bound.

He JUMPED not a word, but went LEFT to his work,
And HUGGED all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,
And laying his BELLY BUTTON aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the PORCH he rose;

He sprang to his UPS TRUCK, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all KARATE CHOPPED like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim as he went out of sight,
Merry Christmas to all and to all a SPLENDID night.

2. ‘Twas the night before LABOR DAY and all through the house,
Not a creature was DRAWING, not even a mouse.
The BARBIES were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes that A CELEBRITY soon would be there.

The HERD was nestled all snug in their beds
While visions of COOKIES danced in their heads.
And mom in her SHORTS and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long FALL nap.

And then, in a twinkling I heard in the LAUNDRY ROOM,
The prancing and pawing of each BELLY BUTTON.

As I drew in my FOOT and was turning around,
Down the SLIDE St. Nicholas came with a bound.

He CLAPPED not a word, but went SOUTH to his work,
And SWAM all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,
And laying his EAR aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the KITCHEN he rose;

He sprang to his MOTORCYCLE to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all RAN like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim as he went out of sight,
Merry Christmas to all and to all a SMALL night.

3. ‘Twas the night before HALLOWEEN and all through the house,
Not a creature was PUSHING , not even a mouse.
The SLINKIES were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes that GUY FIERI soon would be there.

The SWARM OF BEES were nestled all snug in their beds
While visions of EGGNOG danced in their heads.
And mom in her SCARF and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long FALL nap.

And then, in a twinkling I heard on the STAIRS,
The prancing and pawing of each KNEE.

As I drew in my NOSE and was turning around,
Down the SLIDE St. Nicholas came with a bound.

He SNEEZED not a word, but went UP to his work,
And CHOMPED all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,
And laying his PINKY aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the LIBRARY he rose;

He sprang to his UNICYCLE to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all JUMPED like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim as he went out of sight,
