7th Mar 2023 03:03 There are guides out there that can give you the basics, and by the end of this hopefully you will have a link to one or two. What I want to get to is putting it all together, making it all work. Along with things I wished someone had simply told me because it wasn't all that obvious.

Understanding this is important so you don't mess up mission order and have to repeat missions.
The last link, with progress goals, also shows when you need to be free from prison, promote, or use certain items so you can plan in advance. ~I highly recommend only keeping 2 pets until you have a solid battle pet. One pet to be the correct color for free or double training and the other for the portal/guillotine.

Once you have a pet with stats that can consistently beat Knutt Knight, then you can start to build your pet collection without the worry of the game stats or random stats affecting too much. Or you can buy the pet stat gift box to guarantee which pet gets the stat. By around progress level 45, it might be wise to have 6 pets one to be ready for each promotion level (5 @ 51, 6 @ 57, 7 @ 62, 8 @64, 9 @ 66, and 10 @ 69) and don't have to worry about receiving a new promotion, because you already have one waiting when the time comes. ((Side note: athlete is the cheapest job to take to 20))

Also, a note that promotions do not happen automatically, but occur through random events. Visiting the Fortune Teller may increase your odds of promotions. ~The next important thing of note you will need for Goals is Treasure Maps. These can be bought in three places: Rapunzel's Tower, Treasure Maps, and Account Upgrades Shop.
The Maps in the Account Upgrade Shop are the "Retired" maps, they rotate through. Do not fear, they are not actually retired and you do not need to pay exorbitant inflation.
In fact, the retired maps sell 3 map pieces for 5 AU. So never pay more than 2 AU((4mil MP)) for a single map piece or 60 AU for a full map. Because it costs 30 AU to buy 18 map pieces and swap your way to a full map, don't pay more than double for ease or impatience. (( current rate that is 120mil MP for a map approx. at current rate))Most players will recommend purchasing your maps for Goals before working on Giftboxes, but there are some to keep in mind:
-Battle: heals you after each fight. Lets you keep fighting, Helps you beat more Knutt Knight early game and saves you clicks later game.
-Double Crystals & Diamonds: these will pay for themselves within a month if you can beat Knutt Knight or have a Sumo Sally pass
-All the ones that cut training time
-Shop Pricer: you can't make money selling in your shop without this~You don't have to accomplish all the Goals on your own! https://www.marapets.com/subforum.php? is full of forums of pets you can borrow to help complete those hard to reach goals. Or you can make your own asking for help. ~Speaking of Forums. Be sure to note that each forum has their own set of rules. It is important that you know the rules of each particular forum so that you do not end up having your topic or post reported.
For instance, most say no Double Posting which can refer to two things both of which are not allowed when noted in the rules: 1) posting more than once in a row in a single topic or 2) posting the same topic twice.
MaraTalk (MT) follows the same rules as Random Chat (RC) with the addition of no more than 3 posts in a row. ~Now let's talk about making that Cheddar and there are so many different varieties of it!
MP (Mara Points), BP (Battle Points), RP (Restocking Points) ((Now this is the restocking of just buying from the store not the restocking players' refer to when they mean buying items up from MP shops to resell in your shop)), AU (Account Upgrades), OP (Olympic Points), SP (Spy Points), SP (Stalker Points), MP (Memory Points), RP (Recycling Points), SP (Score Points), RP (Referral Points), Dukka Coins, Fake Dukka
Most of these are self explanatory on how to earn them. Their stores also explain how to earn the points.
Recommendations: Dukka Dash often and early! Save up for double Recycling and Memory Points. Eleka Prison is your friend for RP and Leprechaun during the quest of the day. Talon can build up into a monster BP machine.
While many recommend the restocking in the brackets above for earning money, and I have tried it and it does work, it is just so time consuming for such a low pay out.
For new players and old players I highly recommend Obese fairy rewards for some instant cash up to 6mil. Easily accessible with MP shop gourmets. Also playing the Arcade games and selling the prizes, so many older players don't play the games and quests ask for the prizes.
Finally the best way to make money is going to be completing quests and temples for high payouts and rewards. Including AU for the temples- who doesn't love free AU. So My quest rules: diamonds and crystals priority. Don't spend more than 10k for a quest not even Haunted House with double diamonds. Unless you are in a quest contest battle or it is Quest of the Day on a Quest that rewards Temple passes (Carpenter, Simerian Excavator, & Simerian Explorer quests) Or Leprechaun for RP.
