Hi everyone,

I hope you all took some time to relax this month before we get into the craziness of Maraween, Thanksgiving, and Elfember.

If anyone can help out in November, we need hosts. Word scrambles, logic puzzles, questing challenges, dress up, or anything else you can think of. So far, we have nothing scheduled for November.

I ran out of space to post information about last year's events and club banners. If you need a refresher or are new to Mara, scroll down on my planning page for all the info. https://www.marapets.com/blogs.php?entry=503941&id=2039393

We have lots of Maraween banners created by club members. Feel free to add them to your signature or profile. https://www.marapets.com/blogs.php?entry=504080&id=2039393

A big thank you to those of you who have been donating items to help out your fellow clubmates. All donations are always welcome. If it doesn't fit the current theme, it will just get saved in our gallery for a little while.
If you would like to donate for this month's events, here is what we are focusing on:

Chocolate Bricks info from buck2772Gwylynnsgarden

Information from buck2772

Base score is the number and type of bricks you get:
Dark Chocolate Bricks = 5 points
Milk Chocolate Bricks = 10 points
White Chocolate Bricks = 15 points
Orange Chocolate Bricks = 20 points
Cracked Dark Chocolate Bricks (3-hit) = 35 points
Cracked Orange Chocolate Bricks (2-hit) = 50 points
Silver Bricks = 100 points

Each powerup adds more points to the base score:
Slower ball speed = 25 points
More balls = 25 points
Bigger paddle = 25 points
Bottom bar = 25 points
Magnet = 50 points
Fireball = 50 points
Side Guns = 50 points
Faster ball speed = 75 points
Smaller paddle = 100 points
1 Up = 100 points

Lives remaining does not affect score

Each level starts with a certain number of points for Level Bonus:
level 1 = 11, level 2 = 15, level 3 = 31, level 4 = 33, and so on (there's no pattern for the amount of base bonus points).

The Level Bonus points increase with each type of powerup you get AND the level you are on. I have not worked on figuring these out yet.

I have figured out the base score (from the different types of bricks), base level bonus score (if you get zero powerups), and the total score you would receive for levels 1-45 (without any powerups or silver bricks):

Level 1 = 700 (for bricks) + 11 (base bonus) = 711 Total Score
Level 2 = 460 + 15 = 475
Level 3 = 630 + 31 = 661
Level 4 = 495 + 33 = 528
Level 5 = 450 + 37 = 487
Level 6 = 360 + 36 = 396
Level 7 = 380 + 44 = 424
Level 8 = 665 + 88 = 753
Level 9 = 650 + 97 = 747
Level 10 = 220 + 36 = 256
Level 11 = 680 + 124 = 804
Level 12 = 660 + 132 = 792
Level 13 = 995 + 215 = 1210
Level 14 = 1680 + 392 = 2072
Level 15 = 1090 + 272 = 1362
Level 16 = 535 + 142 = 677
Level 17 = 905 + 256 = 1161
Level 18 = 1520 + 456 = 1976
Level 19 = 405 + 128 = 533
Level 20 = 275 + 91 = 366
Level 21 = 685 + 239 = 924
Level 22 = 1225 + 449 = 1674
Level 23 = 475 + 182 = 657
Level 24 = 830 + 332 = 1162
Level 25 = 830 + 345 = 1175
Level 26 = 885 + 383 = 1268
Level 27 = 980 + 441 = 1421
Level 28 = 1225 + 571 = 1796
Level 29 = 1420 + 686 = 2106
Level 30 = 1400 + 700 = 2100
Level 31 = 815 + 421 = 1236
Level 32 = 1065 + 56
