Another day in the life of a teenage girl
The year is 1987. It is the last day of school. But, of course I am still in school. I did not know they could give detenition on the last day of school.
If I would have known I would not have back talked the teacher. Tick, tock, tick, tock. Time slowley went by. I was starting to feel really annoyed. Finally, our
geeky seince teacher told me I could go early. Thank goodness! I quickley ran outside to see my friends, Jamie and Lola. "Finnaley, I thought you would be in there forever," Jamie said. Jamie is your average bad girl. She has jett black hair and today was wearing a madonna inspired outfit, that we had seen in the lucky star
vidio on mtv. Lola was a little diffrent. She has her hair dyed red and kinda had the whole rocker chic look today. She was dressed in fingerless gloves along with
a tight strapless black top with a red jacket over it. She was wearing black cargo pants also. And as for me, well my look little diffrent. My hair is pink and black
and I normalley keep it lookng like Patty Donahue from The Waitresses. Im wering a tight black top with a poffy red and black skirt. Along with lace
hand gloves and red leg warmers. "I hope this is the last time you get detention in the 9th grade, Roxy," Lola chucked as she said.
"Ha, ha. very funny," I exlaimed, obviously not amused. "Come on you two. Lets go two my house," Jamie yelled as she started down the sidewalk.
"Alright," Lola yeld as me and her sprinted down the road. "Hey mom," Jaimie said as she walked inside. "How are you doing Roxy," she said as I got inside of there small, but tidy home.
"Pretty good. How about you," I asked as I sat down on there couch. "I am doing alright," she said as she walked into the kitchen. "I do not want to watch Winner Takes All, put on mtv," I said, in a very annoying voice. "Fine," Lola said passing me the remote. I turned on mtv just in time to hear Blondies, The Tide is High. We immediately started dancing like freaks.
That night, I phoned my mom to tell her I was staying at Jamie's house for the night.
