Amy's heart was thrumming a furious tattoo against her chest as she ran through the forest, her hair tangled and her clothes filthy and torn. She ducked under a low hanging branch and ran through a puddle of sloppy mud as she ran away from the dreadful sound. It was a loud hissing, with the odd roar interrupting it now and then. She knew who was following her, crashing through the undergrowth as they chased her scent. It was a group of aliens. And they weren't friendly ones.
