While nobody really knows their real name, MidnightThief lives by their name. They used to always go around midnight, stealing Marapoints from unsuspecting Marapets homes, that was until someday he was caught by Icedflames who works as a police officer.
Because of this, he ended up in prison (hense his permanent customisation which fits his name!)
