This is my sweet kitty. He is almost 15 this year!!

I got him when he was 4 months old, and I was 20. I desperately wanted a cat, but I had no way of transporting one home. I had to be resourceful to make him mine!

My best friend and I made a day of it. We drove a moving van across town as we were too young to rent a car.

As soon as I went to the cage with his brothers and sisters, he walked straight to the front. He put a paw on my cheek and licked me. I knew he had to be mine then! He had chosen me from the moment we first met.

Here he just had a delicious snack :grin:





He is always very smoochy and still licks my face often to this day :blush:

I've been wanting to reconnect with my inner child so this purse reflects the things my younger self would be super happy to have. I loved (and still love) cutesy things that are food, animal and book-related!
