Once upon a time, in the giant hills of the Gigantic Paradise, lived a sorceress known to all that lived there--her name known to none. In the hills she lived isolated, alone, and was whispered to be frightfully wicked. The gentle, shy Fasoro who lived in their underground dens, fearing this nameless sorceress, rarely ventured out. And so, the Fasoro grew hungry, listless, and very, very sad.

Rightful, though it was yet to be her given name, was among the frightened Fasoro, kept in fear in her own den among her parents and littermates. This was her existence, as far as she knew. She knew not of the sunshine, or the warm rain, the flower fields, or the cool breezes of the giant hills. Only her parents knew of these things, and so they told Rightful and her littermates many stories of the hills they once roamed freely.

As you might expect of one named Rightful, it did not take her long to realize that the rights of her family and all the other Fasoro in the giant hills were being gravely wronged by this nameless sorceress. Anger soon outweighed her fright. Though her family attempted to stop her, Rightful burst forth from their den into the glaring sun to confront the sorceress. Rightful journeyed through the giant hills--through harsh rain, seemingly endless flower fields, and gusting wind. Her courage did not falter. She was determined to meet this sorceress and somehow free the Fasaro from their dens.

After many days, Rightful arrived to where it was said the sorceress lived. She expected a dark cave, dead, rotting ground and trees, cages and weapons. Instead, to her great astonishment, she was met with a charming cottage in a sun kissed glade. Carrots and celery and onions and other healthy vegetables grew in a well-tended garden behind a white picket fence. Flowers lined the green, green grass, and sweet moss grew over the cottage roof.

As Rightful took this amazing sight in, the front door swung open and a Fairy stood in the doorway, smiling. "Hello little one," she said with a voice nothing short of warm and kind. "You traveled far. You must be very hungry. Please, come in and break your fast with me."

All at once, Rightful realized three things: the rumor which kept the Fasoro hidden in their dens was wrong, the sorceress was simply a Fairy, and she was indeed very, very hungry.

In that cottage, fed by the kind Fairy, Rightful told her tale--of the Fasoro, the frightening sorceress, her journey, and her realization that the Fasoro deserved to live freely in the giant hills. Moved and deeply sorry for unwittingly frightening the Fasoro, the Fairy insisted she fly Rightful home and set things right.

With the kind Fairy, Rightful called forth every Fasoro family from their dens. Reluctant, they came, and with great joy, they learned that there was never a sorceress, only a secluded Fairy in a cottage who had chosen the giant hills as her home.

"We have this little one to thank for solving this great misunderstanding," the kind Fairy announced to the Fasoro. "She knew in her heart that you all had a right to live in the giant hills freely. For that, I declare that forevermore, she shall be called Rightful."
