The late John Thaw brought Colin Dexter's character, Inspector Morse, to life. When I saw the Midnight Yuni, I couldn't help but smile. There was something about the drawing that reminded me of this brilliant, smug, lonely detective who longed for great music, deviously difficult crosswords, alcoholic beverages, and female companionship.
Perhaps one day Dollin, the Hairy Straya, will discover Yuni Morse's charms.
