Monday, Aug. 4th, Kassidy was taken into the emergency room complaining of head pain. On the way to the hospital, Kassidy passed out. When she got to the hospital, the doctors diagnosed her with a brain aneurysm that ruptured. Kassidy was airlifted to San Diego's Children Hospital where she currently is at.

When Kassidy arrived at Children's Hospital, the doctors diagnosed her with a condition called AVM stating that Kassidy was born with smaller than normal blood vessels and when a clot occured, her vessels ruptured due to the increased pressure. Kassidy went into a coma right away. Since Monday afternoon, the doctors have been draining the blood and monitoring any changes. Her vitals have been stable. Her cranium pressure has gone up and down. Kassidy seems to still have a fight in her. No changes have happened to show us any signs of what is to come. This morning, she surprised us with a yawn and a few other positive signs. Doctors reassessed the situation and are currently trying new procedures to monitor the amount of oxygen and blood getting to her brain. Her family has been by her side 24/7 and appreciate all the love, support, and prayers.
