Shalienne
There's a song that plays
in many different ways
In all the days of the earth
In every death, in every birth

Hidden melodies are found
in all and every single sound
In the ground and in the skies
In the way a falcon flies

And it only has one word,
no unnecessary rhymes
It only takes one word
You can write it many times

The rhytm of your heart
makes mine lose all count
Have not the heart to tear hearts apart
I'll stay here, just for now

And I'll sing out loud

There's a song that plays
for a thousand days
and starts again
Be still and listen

And it only has one word,
no unnecessary rhymes
It only takes one word
One word a million times

I'll add my note, my melody
Like the heartbeat of a bird
it plays joyfully, so rapidly,
and fades before it's heard

  • Shalienne 0 ShalienneThis is a poem about the glorious feeling of unity with the whole of the universe. Life, death, love, nature - it is all the same, all part of the Great Circle of Existence, the Essence of Being. Many have come before us and many will come after we are gone. We have but here and now, we should make the most of it. Don't hesitate, seize the day. If you love somebody, let it show, be with them. No time is spent better.
