He admired the blind grey kit, but Kolse also deemed the kit stupid. What sort of kit would run out into the Darkness when something was lurking nearby? He knew that Rief was in the shadows watching Harka, and he also knew that it was his job to get the small white she-kit away from Harka. Kolse pondered what he had been told about the she-kit.
???She is more dangerous than you realize,??? Rief had told him. ???She had the power to bend the earth, and the elements. She has not yet accessed the power, but when she does??? Well, we???re going to make sure she doesn???t.??? Rief had then led him here, to where the she-kit was helpless, but stuff had occurred. Kolse knew he had to get the blind kit away from that kit Holly???

???Jay! Come back!??? Kiesha cried. Without waiting for holly, she launched herself into the darkness from where she could scent Jay???s scent. As she began to follow it though, she ran into something.
???Wha-??? she began to ask, but a hard paw slammed into her head knocking her unconscious.
