I've just finished it the first time, I had a huge stock of keys in my attic from playing Archeology often before I started. And I don't really try to do a level a day, I just leave it until I've slowly collected each key, it works out pretty well moneywise, even though it takes a long time haha. The AUs are pretty good though.
That annoys me so much too, when they're all expensive.

Good Luck. I am going to be doing lvl 28 in a few hours. But imo, this temple is not worth it, the "big prize" at the end is under 100k now. So only thing I think is worth getting is the AU creds, I wish I would have kept track of how much I spent doing this stupid temple. So be prepared to spend a few million MP to do it.
