Changing link colors:

Works great after adding STYLIST to chrome and do the follow steps:
After the extension is installed, do the following:
1. click SETTINGS
2. click EXTENSIONS
3. find the stylist extension and click OPTIONS
4. click STYLES
5. click ADD NEW STYLE
6. copy & paste the following:
A:visited { color: red ! important }
7. name the style
8. click the ALL SITE check box
9. click SAVE

PS: You can "name" the style anything like "aaa"

Now after you return from viewing a hit on Chrome that item is now the colour RED. I made mine green.
