I want to thank everyone here on Mara who said a prayer for my daddy's peaceful and painless passing.
He passed away yesterday morning with his family surrounding him. It was quiet, painless and very peaceful.
My daddy was a man who everyone loved. I do not know 1 person who could say 1 bad thing about him. He always had a joke to tell and he was a giant flirt with the ladies. (never disrespectful to my mom though) My mom and dad were in love like no other. My daddy would have turned 68 on November 30th. ??? ??? ???

I spent the last 3 days of his life with him. I feel like he waited for me to come down. I am heartbroken but I am also relieved he does not have to suffer this cancer any longer.

I did. I am in Florida now. Late night in a hotel room. I cannot sleep. Thank goodness for free wifi.
