In honor of my Dad who recently passed away I want to do as many donations as I can. To get a donation post a small memory that you cherish and that's all it takes.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I couldn't imagine how difficult that must be...

A memory I really cherish is a few years ago when my town finally got a lot of snow (I live in the south, so it rarely happens). We've kind of made a tradition about when it snows, we get in our jeep and drive to the nearest Krispy Kreme, pick up a few dozen hot, fresh doughnuts, and deliver them to family friends in the snow. It's always an adventure, and it's always nice to do something with my dad where we can get along well.

I am so sorry your dad passed away. I can't imagine what that is like. My Aunt passed away a few years ago so I kind of know what it's like but I couldn't imagine living without my dad. Stay strong!
A moment I cherish is going to Disneyland with my dad step mom and step siblings. I Cherish it because at that time there was no stress...everyone was having a good time and we were all together. (:

I'm very sorry your father passed I lost mine in 2008 and it has definitely had it's tole on me! One of my favorite memories with him is going to the bowling alley and him teaching me how to play pool. It's something that always reminds me of him because I play all the time at bars now since I'm older and I still use the stick he bought me before he passed away.

A really good memory that I have seems almost cinematic when I think of it now but one evening when I was in grade school I went out on my covered back porch to find my Dad swinging on our porch swing, as it stormed, all by himself. I sat there with him for a while and we watched the rain together. I remember asking him if it was safe to be outside because there was lighting so he gave me a little lesson on how lighting worked. Before that time I was not necessarily a big fan of storms but ever since I find myself enjoying the sound of thunder and rain because it makes me think of that moment. I'm sorry to hear about your Dad, I'm really close to my dad too and it would be very hard to not have him around. Memories are so precious and luckily there is nothing anyone can do to take them away, even if we forget they're still there somewhere in our minds.

One of my favourite memories was my Dad coming to visit me for two days in July 3 years ago. I hadn't seen him since I was six and I haven't seen him since. We went to ZSL London Zoo and had chicken and bacon sandwiches.
