You can't. Bingo is automatically played and it's the first player to reach a full house (except for the four corners games). Full house means that it needs to be every number on the card called.
Getting the first line counts for horizontal lines only unfortunately.
If you win, you get an alert telling you that you have won. You don't have to be online to play them as it'll still play your cards regardless.
