7/13/2020 - Week One
Writing Prompt: Prompt: In roughly 100 words (feel free to go over): Write about a time you felt really happy. What happened? What made you feel happy?

ne time I felt truly happy was when my sister was discharged from the hospital after a 5 month stay. My sister was a very medically needy person, and for this hospital stint she was admitted due to a variety of problems (keep said information private out of respect). Whenever she was in the hospital I had to live with my grandfather, who basically treated me like an obligatory roommate. The only time I could see my grandma (who raised me) was when we???d visit the hospital, for she had to stay with my sister else her medical needs probably wouldn???t be met. The isolation, loneliness, and lack of parental figure really started to crush me internally, and this specific 5 month hospital stay took quite the toll on my psyche. The day I found my sister was being discharged, I felt a happiness like no other. I was finally gonna be able to be with my sister and grandma again like normal.
