We have a list of new staff to be added to the site really soon. We're creating new colours of stars and new staff jobs for parts of the site. If your on our list you'll hear from us soon. We haven't really been focusing on new staff for a while but more on improving the tools for the staff we already have, so they can do their jobs better and quicker. Marapets has always had quality staff over quantity. When are the winners of the checklist going to be announced? ~julielovesrobbo Really soon. I'm going to catch up soon with lots of stuff thats behind. Its been really busy for us, because we've been doing tons of maintenance to the site for the past few months to help marapets grow and its been really difficult and time consuming to do all of the maintenance without closing the site for a few hours/days. The timing of the checklist was also a pain, because it came at the beginning of the month when we had the loooooong task of planning, creating and releasing a new huge Account Upgrades set. It takes 3-6 days for us to create and plan a cool new Account Upgrades set every month, and thats not including organising all of the other news for the rest of the month. We'll catch up soon though. Why don't the quests and missions have better rewards? ~midnight93 We regularly change the prizes to quests and will soon be editing the prizes to all of the missions to balance the MP better. Harder missions should pay more than easier ones. Do you ever sleep? ~cheergurl4ever I try to. I never sleep for long, just nap usually because I have to be online at weird time zones depending on who I have to meet up to discuss new stuff for Marapets. When there isn't news on marapets for a few days, it usually means I've finally fallen asleep. If we don't have news for a few weeks you know I'm enjoying my sleep. Can Laimay come out with new houses or at least revamp them? There a little old. ~K00LUH The plan is that we work on developing Characters, then Battling and then Marahomes. Obviously in between working on those will be lots of other random news and updates, but the overall plan is to have Pets and Characters properly developed and then move onto Marahomes. They'll be fixed and work perfectly soon, but won't get much new stuff for a while. Its not really a good idea to do them all at once. Will queen Eleka have a Loyalty Programme? ~debbie521 No. Queen Eleka doesn't like to reward people. But I can reveal that the Circus in Slater Park is somehow connected to what Queen Eleka will be doing soon. Sounds weird, but it'll all make sense soon! Why did you decide to make Marapets? ~kizzygemi Its been so long I don't actually remember why. But I remember people telling us that we'll never make it, so we worked even harder. Then they blinked and we are what we are today. Is there any chance to Marapets have other languages, like in Spanish or Portuguese? ~dragopotter Probably in a couple of years. We're not ready for that right now. Can you give our characters highlights? ~GuineaPiggy There will be a few hairstyles with hairlights in them. But you'll only be able to control the colour of the hair, not the highlights. When we've released as much stuff as we can for the characters as they are now, we'll be working on upgrading them to allow lots of extra stuff. Like right now they can only wear something at the top, but can't wear a coat over the top. By the end of the year hopefully we'll have makeup, tattoos, jewellery, accesssories like handbags (no bolimos in the handbags though!) and other stuff like that. When you put on a wig for your doll, can you take it off? ~bluelover33 Yes, but like character costumes, you have to get a new hairstyle or recreate your character. It'll be upgraded soon, but for right now thats just how they have to work. We didnt plan for wigs and character costumes when we made the character system so its kinda strange how they work right now. When is the next election? ~hipeople555 Soon. We don't want to release it until we have caught up with other stuff. We're still behind because of maintenance and Laimay moving house. We want to be ready so that we can actually keep up with the election stuff when we get it out. Will it ever be possible to remove items of clothing from our wardrobes? ~Cherripie No. Why is there no Red Blood in shop search? ~jacko911 Red Blood will be added somewhere else on the site instead of from Account Upgrades. |
