"Why would you care?" He growled. "I'm not going to hurt her either. Master sent me to get the Bender!" Kolse's mouth snapped shut autibly. He bristed as he realized that he had said too much.
"Ughn..." The white kit groaned from beneath him. Kolse glared at Holly and before waiting for her response, he grabbed the white kit, who was much smaller than him, by the scruff and darted deeper into the Dark. He didn't listen to see if Holly was following, and he didn't care. He ran until he caught sight of Rief's auburn pelt.
"Master!" Kolse said through a mouthful of fur. Rief turned toward him and his black eyes lit up as he saw the white kit.
"You have the Bender." Kolse nodded, and dropped the kit. He blind eyes were open wide as she stared at nothing.
"Who are you?" She mewed softly. The calm gentleness in her voice caught Kolse offguard. He had expected her to be evil and rude, like how Rief had described her, but as Kolse stared at her blind eyes, he saw infinite kindness. She tried to stand up, but fell on trembling paws. Kolse wanted to help the kit up, but Rief growled. What is his problem? Kolse hissed in his mind. As Kolse stared at the shaking kit, he felt pity for her. He knew that Rief was going to kill her... But what if he were to save her instead of following orders?
*~Kiesha's POV~*
She could smell the hate and fear in the air, and it stung her nose. She couldn't pinpoint where the danger was, and Kiesha was scared out of her pelt. Where was everyone? She wondered. Where did Holly go? Didn't I hear her voice? Kiesha decided to remain quiet. It seemed like the best choice.
"I am Rief," A scratchy deep voice boomed. "And now you are going to die."
