History:
Akinyi was born into the Pride of Jua. Her parents were doting on both her and her brother Dalisto. During the time of her youth, her pride was well off and so she grew in relative peace. When she was an adolescent a terrible illness broke out in her pride. Both of her parents succumbed to it as well as many of the older and younger lions in the pride.
After their parent's death, her brother left the pride in hopes of creating a new pride. Akinyi did not follow him, however. Instead, she would stay with the Pride of Jua tending to those ill and helping out as much as she could.
Eventually, the sickness would end and the pride recovered. It left their numbers small, however. Now with the recent drought being a new threat, it's uncertain what will happen to Akinyi or the pride.
