Our new Time Machine has opened in Vortex Park. Marada was accidentally discovered in August 2004 when a British student used a telephone box that was in fact a Time Machine - or H.O.M.E.R (History of Marada Extra-dimensional Replicator). Since then, over 6 million people have visited at different times and have missed out on many items from the past. Every Saturday, 30 items are randomly selected from the Time Machine List to become the prize list for the following week.

Every time you use the Time Machine, you will go back in time and bring back 4 items with you. A time themed Booster, Wand and Mystery Bag and a random item from the prize list. The Time Machine Tokens are available at the Account Upgrades page and can be won for FREE from the Mystery Item game. There will also be more ways to win these in the future!

As the Time Machine can only used once every 48 hours you cannot send Tokens to other players to use the Time Machine on your behalf and to send you the item they win. That is putting your account at an unfair advantage over other players and is not permitted.

The Mystery Bag items released with the new Time Machine can be opened at any time from your Inventory. Inside each bag you will find a random retired Newspaper or Magazine matching the month of the the Mystery Bag. If you open a bag on the correct month (such as a June Mystery Bag in June) you will receive double the items!



Wands are a new type of item, similar to Boosters. You can use any wand item once every 4 hours per pet. A wand will reward your pet with a random School stat - or if you're really lucky, a random University stat! If you use a wand on the correct month (such as a June Wand in June) you will receive double stats!



There are also 12 special new Boosters only available from the Time Machine - one for each month. If you use a booster on the correct month (such as a June Booster in June) you will receive double stats!

The Mutant Hump, Murfin, Phanty, Willa, Xoi, Zoink and Zoosh have been updated to the newer design.

The Addow, Arinya, Astro, Azul, Dakota and Gizmo can now wear the Staff Costume.

A new Light Account Upgrade Set has been released, with 7 new light themed items, a retired Light Costume and either a Light Enchanted Plushie or Light Potion. This set is on sale until September 22nd. You can choose if you would like the main prize to be an Enchanted Ercuw Plushie or Potion. There is 1 in 3 chance you will receive a limited edition Ercuw instead of Azul, Bolimo, Jessup or Xoi.




The Light Azul, Bolimo, Ercuw, Jessup, Viotto, Vixen, Xoi and Yuni have been updated to the new style. More pets will be able to wear the Light Costume soon!

The Gobble, Jessup, Lati, Murfin, Osafo, Poera, Raulf, Renat, Tantua, Troit, Vlad and Zetlian can now wear the Sewers Costume. This means that all 77 pets can now wear this costume!

The Mutant Kidlet, Leido, Pucu, Tantua and Tasi have been updated to the newer design.




Over 100 Meat items have been updated to new artwork. Many of these items were the original artwork from when we first opened nearly 15 Years ago. There are also over 40 new items restocking in the Meat Shop.

The Straya can now wear the Burnt, Checkered, Digital, Insideout, Leopard, Slime, Starry and Strobe Costumes. This means that all 77 pets can now wear the Digital, Insideout, Slime and Strobe Costumes!

All 120,660 Usernames and 488,785 Pet Names have been released now. We will be releasing even more over the weekend so be sure to keep checking if the name you wanted was not made avaliable.

The Sultan of Kamilah Desert has new item, MP, stats and Account Upgrade Credit rewards for paying up to 1,500 Days of taxes. After 1,350 days of prizes, there is a new prize after every 15 days until 1,440 Days, when a new prize is rewarded every 10 days!



All 8 pets that can wear the Staff Costume have been updated to match the new style. We hope you like the changes!

Today we have started a MASSIVE removal of inactive accounts to free up 120,660 usernames and 488,785 pet names! Over the almost 15 Years of Marapets, 7,980,197 pets and 6,274,674 accounts have been created and obviously many of these accounts are dead. This will MOVE (not delete) these accounts that didn't play for long and have not visited in the past 8 years. They will not be removed for good, we will keep a copy incase they ever return but they will have to change username or pet names!

Over the next few days, new usernames and pet names will slowly become avaliable at about 500 an hour. If there is a pet name or username you are wanting, make sure you keep checking the Town Hall regularly. If it says a name is avaliable, do not trust it, press the button and try anyway and it will double check. The cache will be updated once the purge is complete.

The Recycled Costume is the latest costume to be revamped. The Recycled Daisy, Gizmo, Knutt, Leido, Rofling, Snookle, Viotto and Willa have been updated to the newer design. We hope you like the change!

The Battery Shop has 124 new items now restocking, bringing the total number of battery items to 180. As these items are all also toys for your pet to play with (it may take a while) eventually with these extra items, the battery shop restocking much more often and some lower rarity and price batteries on sale, the Robot Repair quests will get easier.

Queen Eleka's Loyalty System has 40 new levels of prizes, increasing by 1,200 days of loyalty with us! You are now rewarded for visiting us for 3,060 unique days.



The Knutt House quests have been updated. It's been over 10 years since this quest was released and was somewhat dated. The Knutt House is basically the Marapets staff room, where the marapets staff who go crazy from the constant server errors and complaints from players end up and are fed nuts from the Nutty Tree. The original joke/theme of this quest remains the same but we agree that the word 'mental' isn't really appropriate anymore - it's great to see how far mental health awareness has come in the past decade!

The Mental Costume has been renamed to the Staff Costume and the Staff Knutt has been revamped. This change was due many years ago but other costumes were on the revamp list first! The rest of the staff pets will be revamped shortly and more pets will soon be able to wear this costume. As always on Marapets, nothing here should ever be taken too seriously and if you are easily offended with any of the (bad) attempts at humour on here, maybe we are not the site for you!

The limited edition/restricted pet potion flash sale in the Account Upgrades Shop has been very popular and these will most likely sell out today. As we had originally said that they would retire 20th August, a very small number will be back on sale nearer to this date for those who missed out.

As promised, a new random flash sale for limited edition or restricted pet potions has started in the Account Upgrades Shop. For only £4 Account Upgrade Credit, you will receive either a Nino, Quell, Raulf, Sindi, Snookle, Straya, Sybri, Tasi, Vixen, Vlad or Willa potion. There is a 1 in 3 chance you will receive a restricted pet rather than a limited edition pet. The full list of potions can be viewed here.

These items are set to automatically retire on 20th August but as this is a flash sale and these are items are limited, if the maximum amount of these items are sold before this date, they will retire early!



The Mutant Flab, Quell, Speiro and Sybri have been updated to the newer design.

Foxfire Forest Goals have 25 new levels for you to complete. You can now complete up to 50 levels. There are 11 new item prizes, lots of MP and £3 Account Upgrade Credits to be won. Every world now has 50 levels of Goals to complete.

The Mutant Gobble, Gonk, Grint, Newth and Rusty have been updated to the newer design.




The Battery Shop items have all been revamped and the shop now restocks more often. New battery items will also be released for this shop soon!

The July 2019 Olympics has taken place and the 90 winners have been announced. If you were a winner of this event, you will now have your prize. A new Olympic event has now started.

All players who have earned at least one badge for Marching Band will receive 5,000MP. If you earned all 30 badges for Marching Band, you will receive 100,000MP, a gold trophy and 3 of each bonus prize. If you earned 20 or more, you will receive 50,000MP, a silver trophy and 2 of each bonus prize.
