I was leaning against my cage door at the local shelter watching people milling about and making strange noises at the pets. One lady walked by me and I immediately put my arm through the cage to get her attention. She stopped and pet my arm. Turning and looking at me, she grinned. 'You are the most beautiful cat I've ever seen." I smiled at her. She suddenly disappeared, and I was sad. But she was back a minute later with a shelter volunteer who opened my cage and pulled me out. I relaxed the minute cromergar13 held me in her arms. I sensed something special about her, but I didn't know what it was. She continued playing with me for five minutes. The volunteer told her it was time to put me back in my cage. She told the volunteer that she wanted to adopt me and take me home right then and there, so the volunteer agreed. I live in an awesome home with several other pets like me. Oh, I'm spoiled rotten and I love it!
