Mum wanted a basil when she first started out. She didn't know how to restock and she didn't want to spend real life money on the game. The only way I get what she wanted was through pet trading.
She started out with no les like everyone else on this site. One day she found a poera in the pound. Of course she didn't know what it was but adopted it anyway. She portled the poor thing and it turned valentine. They were actually really cute. She later found out it was a le. She tried trading pets for the first time ever. To her surprise, someone offered a tasi for her valentine poera.
That was the start of mum's pet trading career. One tasi turned into 2 les and so on and so forth. Somehow mum learned about stats and how it was easier for her to stat up pets and then trade for les. So that's what she did also.
At the time figs were new and really popular. (Surprising, I know!!!) She kept trading and trading and eventually got me by trading a mini pet fig along with some other pets. She has a blast trading for me because it took hard work but she finally got me after about a month of being on Mara. I was her pride and joy!
Now I'm just mum's trophy and reminder of her early marapet days. Jeromi gets all the attention with stats and all that jazz. But I will forever be mum's favorite and there's nothing anyone can offer that would tempt her to trade me away. :)
FUNNY STORY In the early days mum had me, she accidentally portaled me! So she had to work hard to save up enough MP to turn me back into a basil. She actually did it! That's why I'm still a basil today. Mum's fav costume is toddler and pirate on me! But she likes taking photos of my gorgeous self so one day I'll be toddler or pirate again. Just you wait and see!
